New Beginnings

One of the most vital steps you can take upon beginning your relationship with the Lord is to learn the foundational teachings of the New Testament church. Similar to the foundation of a building, your understanding of these Biblical truths will help you stand firm as you grow deeper in your faith.

In this four part teaching series you will learn about the true nature of God and His original design for His creation, along with the consequences of free will given to mankind and ultimately what it means to be made a new creation in Christ, adopted into God's family. You will also learn the significance of being baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit. As a foundational course we encourage all church attendees to complete New Beginnings.

Journey

Would you like to gain a broader overview of the Bible so that you have more contextual background for what you hear during Sunday services and Life Groups? Have you completed our New Beginnings series and have a desire to go deeper in Biblical studies but aren't sure where to start? If so, then your next step at JPL Church is to attend our Journey discipleship series!

This eight part mentorship series is a cover-to-cover overview of Biblical concepts from a practical viewpoint. Through teaching, discussion, activations and home study you will discover how to connect with the God of creation in a personal and intimate way. Utilizing a workbook as our guide the lessons will emphasize God's heart for His creation, establishing relationship through covenant, and demonstrating the character of God as you learn to re-present Him to others.

Spiritual Giftings

If the Holy Spirit has awakened a fire and passion on the inside of you to make a difference in the world today on behalf of our King, then you need to discover the specific ways in which you are uniquely equipped by the Holy Spirit to bless others. The grace gifts of the Holy Spirit are to empower you for a place of service and influence in the body of Christ, so learning about them can help you find divine direction for your life.

During this exciting multi-week workshop you will discuss areas of personal interest and passion as you identify how the Holy Spirit desires to express himself through you! This new understanding of what has been imparted to you from the Holy Spirit will add clarity to how you can best serve the Lord inside and outside the church.
